President and Chief Executive Officer

Bob joined Parkland in November 2008 as Vice President Retail Markets and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2010. He brings business leadership and optimization experience from senior roles across a variety of industries. Prior to joining Parkland, Bob spent three years with FisherCast Global where he was the executive in charge of worldwide sales and marketing, and was ultimately promoted to Chief Executive Officer. Bob was also Vice President of Algonquin Automotive, a tier one automotive supplier, where he led the reengineering of key supply chains to significantly reduce costs, and led a joint venture startup in nano-technology for the firm. Bob also spent six years in London, England, primarily with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), where he worked with multinational clients including Alstom Transport, Airbus, Bata Shoes, Kvaerner Engineering and Meggit Defence in CSC's strategy and change management practice. Mr. Espey was also a partner with What If Impact, a London based innovation consultancy where he worked with Coca Cola, Shell, Unilever and the BBC. Bob's background includes four years in the Canadian Navy as a commissioned officer, a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from the Royal Military College and a Masters in Business Administration from the Ivy School of Business, University of Western Ontario.

Mike Lambert

Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mike Lambert joined Parkland September 2011 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mike possesses extensive experience in leading the finance functions of large public companies, broad exposure to operations and strategy, and a focus on increasing organizational efficiency. The senior finance positions that Mike has held in public companies include CFO of the Forzani Group, Executive Vice President and CFO of Canadian Pacific Railway Company, Executive Vice President of Canadian Tire Limited and President of their Mark’s Work Wearhouse Division and CFO of Mark’s Work Wearhouse Limited prior to its acquisition by Canadian Tire.

Andrew Cruickshank

Vice President Finance

Andrew Cruickshank joined Parkland in June 2010 and is both a Chartered Accountant (CA) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Prior to joining Parkland, Mr. Cruickshank’s previous roles included Vice President of Finance at UFA Co-operative Limited, a fuel and agricultural inputs reseller serving 110,000 members, CFO of Collicutt Energy Services Ltd. and CFO of Enwin Utilities Group.

General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Since joining Parkland in 2010 as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Bob has been the driving force behind improvements in the areas of risk management, governance, contract management and negotiation processes. Prior to joining Parkland, Bob Fink was General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of FortisAlberta Inc. where his responsibilities included corporate governance, procurement, land and legal matters. He previously practised in the technology and corporate groups at Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP and in the corporate and tax groups at Macleod Dixon LLP. Bob has been practicing law since 1996.

Dean Mackey

Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Administration

Dean joined Parkland in January of 2009 and has 29 years of experience in human resources at multinational corporations. Prior to joining Parkland, Dean was Vice President Human Resources - North American Field Operations with Americredit Financial Services and he also worked with the Quaker Oats Company of Canada Ltd. as the executive in charge of Human Resources.

Karen Putnam

Vice President Corporate Development

Karen's focus is the identification, negotiation, and execution of strategic opportunities that are accretive to Parkland's shareholders. Karen joined Parkland in February 2010 following the acquisition of Bluewave Energy. She possesses 25 years of financial management experience in the energy sector including the role of Chief Financial Officer for Bluewave Energy. While at Bluewave, Karen built an extensive foundation of experience in the acquisition and integration of companies.

William (Bill) Sanford

William (Bill) Sanford

President of Parkland Commercial Fuels

Bill joined Parkland as President, Bluewave following Parkland's acquisition of Bluewave Energy on January 31, 2010 and later became President of Parkland Commercial Fuels. He brings 32 years of experience in fuel distribution, marketing and sales to the Corporation. He accomplished significant growth at Bluewave through 20 successful acquisitions and integrations while maintaining and improving customer service and safety results.

Jane Savage

Vice President Wholesale and Supply

Jane joined Parkland in the spring of 2011 to lead the Wholesale and Supply division in its efforts to enhance profits through sophisticated supply and contract management. Jane comes to Parkland with 31 years experience in the downstream oil industrry including 22 years with Imperial Oil in refining, supply and wholesale and nine years as President and CEO of the Canadian Independent Petroleum Marketers Association.

Donna Strating

Donna Strating

Vice President Information Technology and Chief Information Officer

Donna joined Parkland in 2010 bringing 20 years of management experience in information technology and operations including Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Capital Health (Alberta) for nine years. In addition, Donna was previously a Management Consulting Partner for Ernst & Young and was subsequently appointed to Vice President with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young. Donna's focus is enhancing the transactional efficiency of Parkland through improvement and integration of Parkland's information systems and accounting systems.
